Welcome to the Virginia Bhakti Center

ISKCON of Virginia located at the Krishna House (807 3/4 W Clay St, Richmond, VA 23220) in Richmond, VA serves as a temple and preaching center to VCU and the surrounding Richmond Community. Our temple is home to a Gaurnitai, Krishna, Radha, Sita, Rama, Laxman, Hanuman, Jagannath, Subhadra, Balabhadra, Nrsingadeva, and Prabhupada deities in display to make offerings and darshan. With close proximity to VCU it is our goal to serve our community, especially the students in spiritual success. We offer living arrangements and scholarships to VCU students involved in our program. ISKCON's goal is to serve god and our community both physically and spiritually. We share traditional Bhakti Yoga teachings from ancient literature such as the Srimad Bhagavatam, Bhagavad Gita, and Vedas on how we can better ourselves, better the world, and later transcend the suffering of this material existence and go back to Godhead. We also serve through offering of food(prasadam) to the community. We provide food for the community through our weekly Sunday program, Govinda Restraunt, and the Food For Life Program. You can learn more about how we serve God and the Community and how you can visit us on our site and in person. Stop by today and we can provide you with many tools and texts to start your spiritual journey. Hare Krishna.
